    1. Decking

• Most contractors don't remove underlayment in order to inspect the wood decking. We, however, take the extra step to inspect the entire roof decking for overall strength and ability to securely hold nails and shingles.

    2. Underlayment

• Without proper installation of underlayment your decking will be exposed to moisture that will cause your decking to become soft and appear wavy. This can also cause the shingles to crack and deteriorate more quickly. We only use plastic caps to install underlayment. Also we use Ice & Water Shield in the valleys giving protection like no other valley product. Although you don't see this from the street, it is a very important protection.

    3. Shingles

• We have addressed all areas of shingle installation to help ensure the very longest life for your roof you can have complete confidence that our factory-certified crew will exceed the manufacturer's guidelines. For instance, we use starter shingles for a stiffer and straighter leading edge. This ensures your shingles will be straight and less likely to be lifted by high winds or "droop over".

    4. Flashing

• Flashing is where most leads occur. Some roofing contractors give a minimum amount of attention to theses areas. We recognize this to be another important place to prevent water leaks. We apply a superior flashing sealant for the best protection possible. For vent popes we replace all existing rubber pipe boots with new ones and reset all the metal water heater and furnace exhaust vents. With all these steps, you will have a leak-free and beautiful roof.

    5. Ventilation

• Improper ventilation of your attic will cause high temperatures and will void the manufacturer's warranty. High temperatures may even cause damage to your house structure and exterior paint. they can even cause your roof to lose up to half its life due to premature shingle damage. It is essential that we do an analysis of current ventilation and give you the specified amount of vents required to maintain your manufacturer's warranty. We use only shingle over ridge vents to assure maximum ventilation and prevent any water penetration. All our products are the very6 best products we have found in the market.

    6. Inspection

• Your roof receives multiple inspections. During the installation the Crew Leader continually oversees the installation and verifies manufacturer's installation guidelines are being followed. After the installation, our own Project Manager's inspect the job to assure the Ultimate Performance Roof System was installed to your own high standards.
